I don’t know about you, but I have a love/hate relationship with technology.

It can be a meaningless distraction AND a form of connection with my far-away friends.
It can be a wealth of helpful information to help heal AND a wealth of misinformation that drives fear and concern.
It can offer quotes of encouragement that build me up AND it can offer pictures that leave me feeling less than.
It can provide minutes of gut belly laughter AND it can provide equal amounts of sadness.
It can be an efficient way to fill out paperwork AND it can be “just let me send to one more email first” when someone needs us.

No matter how I feel… technology is a part of our world. Matter of fact, it is becoming MORE virtual, remote and online than ever before. It’s the only world our children have known. Technology has replaced door to door salesmen, college textbooks and face to face meetings. I mean even the camera in my refrigerator has replaced a phone call home to see if we are out of milk! It even plays Netflix and Spotify and notifies me when one of my children has left the door open for too long! THIS is the direction our world is headed.

Join us VIRTUALLY 🙂 as we discuss ways we can navigate and find balance in a distracted, technology-saturated world while not missing out on the important PEOPLE right in front of us.
