I simply cannot believe it is November already!  And that means that we are about to close out another year.  Another season.  Another chapter.  As with any good ending, there often comes a reflection. And as I have been reflecting on the last four years of The Exchange and of my own personal growth, I cannot help but be grateful.  Grateful to be surrounded by women who desire more for their lives.  Grateful for women who stay their course and encourage me to do the same.

Grateful to have been able to watch women take their next best step in their emotional healing, their physical health, their spiritual maturity or their mental growth.  In whatever area they felt was lacking. And it has been so inspiring!  We have had the privilege of seeing women unbecoming who they aren’t, so that they can become who they are meant to be. We have watched women cry, laugh and grow, strengthening muscles they didn’t know they had.  We have been seated next to amazing souls, month after month, who are eager to ditch their complacency and replace it with purpose.

We have been taking better care of ourselves and learning what it means to love ourselves well.  We have been feeding our souls.  We are seeing women more awake, more alive, more FULL than ever before!  And I don’t want us to stop there! It is my hope and prayer, that we as women will keep INTENTIONALLY filling our cups, AND use that to pour out to each other.

I came across a quote by Selene Kinder that I have been pondering for a while and it pretty much sums up my heart’s desire for our community.

I wish more women realized that helping another woman win, cheering her on, praying for her, or sharing a resource with her, does NOT take away from the blessings coming to them.  In fact, the more you give, the more you receive.  Empowering women doesn’t come from selfishness but rather from selflessness.”

So as we enter this season of ThanksGIVING, it is my desire that we help, cheer, pray, share and GIVE to each other.  Just like iron sharpens iron, we can help sharpen each other.  Let’s don’t lose those rough edges, ladies! Life’s too short to be dull. Let’s ENCOURAGE each other.  Build each other up. If she is at the beginning of her journey, let’s HELP HER UP on to the starting block.  If she is growing tired and weary in the middle of her race, let’s JUMP IN and tread water together. And if she is close to her own personal victory, let’s be there as she crosses the finish line, CELEBRATING HER with all we’ve got!

What AMAZING women you are! I cannot wait to see what this next season holds!

Happy November! Happy ThanksGIVING!
